Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekhar Rao has urged people in the State to cooperate with the lockdown, which is implemented to prevent the spread of Coronavirus with the same spirit. He said that the people with
the Coronavirus are identified and given treatment and those who came in contact with them were quarantined regularly.

The CM has instructed officials concerned to ensure that there was no scarcity of essential commodities supply during the lockdown period. He said that harvesting of Paddy; procurement of the agriculture produce and other agriculture-related activities should go on as usual.
The CM held a high-level review meeting on Friday at Pragathi Bhavan on the treatment given to those suffering from the Corona, implementation of the lockdown, agriculture-related programs. Medical and Health Minister Sri Etela Rajender, Government’s Chief Advisor Sri Rajiv Sharma, Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar, DGP Sri Mahender Reddy, Principal Secretaries to CM Sri S Narsing Rao, Finance Principal Secretary Sri Ramakrishna Rao and others participated.
The officials said that tests are being done for those affected with the Coronavirus and 16 new positive cases are identified on Friday and they are given the treatment. Family members of these persons and those who came in contact with then were quarantined. Though the positive cases are on rising, necessary arrangements were made for their treatment.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM made several suggestions: Implement lockdown strictly. Due to the proper implementation of the lockdown the virus could not spread as it did in other countries. People should realize this reality and cooperate. Ensure the supply of essential commodities like milk, fruits, vegetables, medicines, and meat and maintain social distancing at the shops during the lockdown.
People should cooperate with the free distribution of free rice through the Fair price shops and they should come to the shop at the designated time and maintain social distancing. As per the instructions given by the government, depositing Rs 1500 per family of the ration cardholder’s bank account began on Friday. Everyone will get money. Maintain properly the Centres started in the village for the procurement of the agriculture produce. Farmers should come at the designated time and sell their paddy.
Officials should monitor the camps arranged for the migrant labor in the urban areas and the assistance given there. The meeting also discussed the matters to be mentioned at the CM’s conference with PM Modi and also the issues to be placed before the Special cabinet meeting on Saturday afternoon.
